Wu-Tang Clan - Steppin' 2 Me x Clap 2010

As devoted fans clamor and salivate for anything Wu-related, Gold Dust & Nature Sounds are proud to announce the release of Return of the Wu & Friends, produced and compiled by producer/DJ Mathematics and including some exclusive tracks, lost gems and old time favorites featuring all nine emcees of the Wu-Tang Clan.

The 16 tracks featured on Return of the Wu & Friends were compiled from songs recorded during the group's critically acclaimed 2000 album The W through 2008, including exclusive tracks like "Steppin 2 Me" featuring GZA, Inspectah Deck and Masta Killa. The producer also offers a slew of new remixes, including "Respect Mine" and "Clap". On the former, featuring Raekwon, Method Man and Cappadonna, the sprightly piano loop found on the original (from Mathematics' 2003 solo album Love, Hell or Right) gets flipped into a slower, more ominous track anchored by a funky slap bass line.

Two new joints off the upcoming very highly anticipated Only Built 4 Cuban Linx... Pt. II album have been released recently and I have dropped fresh new links for them here. First off we have the track "10 Bricks" which is produced by the G.O.A.T. J Dilla, and features verses from fellow Wu-Tang members Cappadonna & Ghostface Killah. Second, is the Clean version of a Dr. Dre produced heat rock and features R&B singer Lyfe Jennings. This album is shaping out to be very good and probably will be one of the best hip hop albums this year.

RZA as Bobby Digital - Digi Snacks

www.myspace.com/rza

Groundbreaking producer and artist RZA needs no introduction. As the undisputed leader of the Wu-tang Clan, RZA has been one of the key music makers of our time. Now he's back as his much beloved character Bobby Digital and bringing his brand new studio album Digi Snacks. The video for the first single, “You Can't Stop Me Now," is impacting on major outlets right now.

On Digi Snacks, Bobby Digital is engulfed in a story of revenge, betrayal, seduction, hustlin' and pimpin' slaves as souls, complete with a cast of characters that includes the return of The Raven, The Hawk, The Eagle, The Vulture, The four fouls of prey and, of course, Barbara Peppers. Bobby Digital explains, "If you follow the character, he's always talking with himself between good and evil, trying to balance himself. Sometimes when you think you're all the way at the end, you're actually at the beginning."
