Now Or Neva Records proudly presents the new music video from Amsterdam's Redlight Boogie for the track "Welcome Me In" featuring Rock & Sean Price (Heltah Skeltah). Redlight Boogie's new album Dirty Money, Clean Hands is out now and has been blessed with collaborations from Redman, Boot Camp Clik, Onyx, and Memphis Bleek. "It's promising to be the ultimate future renaissance in hip hop. A new body with an old heart is the best way to put it. Brought to you by a man with a story to tell."
Ruck and Rock discuss their failure to shout out Talib Kweli at their show prior to this interview, plus an accident that has caused a serious delay in the upcoming Random Axe project, as well as why they hate jokes about Michael Jackson.
Heltah Skeltah, comprised of Sean Price and Rock, are a legendary hip hop group hailing from Brooklyn, NY. The duo's first album, 'Nocturnal,' released on Duck Down/ Priority Records in 1995, sold over 400,000 units world-wide. It has been ten years since Heltah Skeltah last released a group project, however as solo artists, the duo has remained heavily active.
Sean Price, ½ of Heltah Skeltah, has developed a cult-like following in the underground hip hop scene. Having released two titles since 2005, 'Monkey Barz' and 'Jesus Price Superstar,' Sean Price was named Independent Artist of the Year in 2006 and 2007, awarded by XXL Magazine, AllHipHop.com and Source Magazine.
Furthermore, Heltah Skeltah are part of the mighty Boot Camp Clik, also comprised of Buckshot and Smif-N-Wessun. Boot Camp Clik have two recent projects, 'The Last Stand' and 'Casualties of War.' With all this current activity and momentum, Heltah Skeltah are truly poised to be 'Da Incredible Rap Team.'
