Dominique Larue & Rashid Hadee - Guess Who (Prod. by Rashid Hadee)

Here's a sort of released, old, but new to your ears track from Dominique Larue and Rashid Hadee who linked up last year to record this joint in Chicago. Be on the lookout for Dominique's forthcoming EP entitled HerStory which will be solely produced by Idasa Tariq and is currently set to be released on February 25, 2010.

Scheme - The Manifesto EP (Remixes by Rashid Hadee)

With the acapellas being released to the public, many producers all over the world took a shot at remixing Scheme's entire new project, The Manifesto EP. Here we have the remixed version by Rashid Hadee, who is also from Chicago, and in my opinion is one of the most slept on/underrated producers ever.

Taken from Amazon.com, in regards to Rashid Hadee:

"The talented producer has laced tracks for MC's such as Little Brother, Psalm One, Longshot, Thaione Davis and Manov War. He has also shared production duties with fellow Chi-town native Kanye West and produced songs for Abstract Mindstate that featured Common and Special Ed."

01. The Manifesto (Intro)
02. Respect the Art
03. Spotlight feat. Wes Restless
04. Let Me Do My Thing
05. Modern Day Warfare
06. Chicano
07. All I Know

Rashid Hadee & Pugs Atomz - Stormy

I'll let the folks who presented this album explain the content of this project, but I'd just like to add that Rashid Hadee is one of the most slept on producer's in the game and I'm very confused as to why this is. Anyways, do yourself a favor and download this album, after all it is free so what have you got to lose?
Pugs Atomz and Rashid Hadee have forged their individual paths and together look to establish a new mark of excellence on the DJBooth.net and FakeShoreDrive.com Presented Stormy LP.

Stormy blends Hadee’s soulful interpretations along with Atomz evocative lyrical imagery to create an elemental integration that juxtaposes humor and intuition. Hadee and Atomz meld their unique and acclaimed styles to reign their own brand of musical understandings of love, life, and hip-hop. Guest vocals are kept to a minimum (Von Pea drops in on "Hand on the Bible") and the production is handled mostly by Hadee, with help from Grant Parks, Race, Hakeem, Fathom 9, Ram Nation, Tall Black Guy, and Duro.

Recorded between 2007 and 2009, take a walk into the world of two of Chicago’s brightest; welcome to the Stormy LP. [via DJBooth.net]

Thaione Davis & Rashid Hadee - Still Hear

MySpace

Over the last few years Thaione Davis has consistently and carefully put out quality hip hop and is easily one of the most promising emcees out of Chicago in years. Still Hear follows up his 2007 album Burgundy (The Antebellum Collection), and teams him with producer Rashid Hadee who has produced for a number of other Chicago area artists and even a track on Little Brother's Get Back. Featuring guest appearances by Infinito 2017, Longshot and more. It's got both a late 90's and current feel set to the backdrop of Southside Chicago and overall is definitely not one to sleep on.

Rashid Hadee - 808's & Hadee: Chopped Not Screwed Vol. 1

MySpace

With lyricism that has garnered as much love and respect as his production Rashid Hadee shares with you his interpretation of an album he simply feels is honest (no pun intended). If you wonder why he chose 808’s to “chop not screw” instead of one of the more openly loved releases from Kanye’s college themed trilogy, Hadee will simply tell you 'because 808’s & Heartbreak is pure genius!'

Abstract Mindstate - Chicago's Hardest Working Vol. 1

MySpace

After a series of white label (12inch) releases, an independent ep release, a national release (through a bad record deal) and a highly anticipated unreleased album, Abstract Mindstate still stands as Chicago’s hardest working rhyme duo. Internationally known and heralded by the music industries most recognized and respected publications (hardcopy & online) the male/female emcee team of E.P Da Hellcat aka The White Lotis and Olskool Ice-Gre aka Tha Gud Dr. created a legacy as Chicago’s purveyors of golden era Hip Hop. Also referred to as the Wonder Twins this Westside/Southside collabo held the city down effortlessly, commanding attention from both coasts as well as the south. Abstract Mindstate feels it’s their duty as artist to create thought-provoking music. The group believes the commercial success of Hip Hop has given the extremely untalented and uncreative room to latch on to the art and use it for their own personal gain with no regard for the culture. Abstract Mindstate is about artistic integrity and respect for the culture which is why the group is still considered one of the best live performance Hip Hop acts to emerge from Chicago’s music scene. Their 3 part mixtape series aptly titled; Chicago’s Hardest Working Mixtape Vol.1, 2 & 3 is a testament to the time and energy the duo has put into making sure Chicago’s contribution to Hip Hop is properly represented. The group is humbled by the love and respect the city has given them over the years but it’s really good when the music industry as a whole appreciates and respects the level of quality Hip Hop they have created.

X-Rae-
He has been compared to 9th Wonder in terms of production, but while on that soulful tip, Hadee definitely has his own distinct sound particularly the way he chops his samples. If tight production ain't enough, he flows incredibly well over his beats with honest rhymes that we can all relate to. This is a dope album, featuring fellow Chapter 13 members, which showcases Hadee's talents and puts him up there as Man of the Moment. Look out for this dude, he's everywhere!

This a must have EP!!! Analogic is one of my favorite producers right now, along with Rashid Hadee but here, Analogic handles all the beats, and it's nothing short of amazing. Listen to "Expode" and you'll see what I mean and Rashid Hadee, he rips the mic up, probably one of the best Producer/MC's out right now now, up there with Bronze Nazareth. I'll post up more stuff related to Analogic so you guys can see how good this guy really is on the boards.

*Note* The EP comes with instrumentals for all the tracks plus 1 bonus instrumental.
