As promised by Marco Polo yesterday via Twitter, here is the first official leak off The eXXecution, the collaboration album between Marco and fellow Brooklyn resident Ruste Juxx. "Rearview" is also the B-side to the duo's 12" single which will be available in late March, along with the full-length album currently scheduled for release on March 23rd. This track is ridiculous, do not sleep!
Marco Polo & Ruste Juxx have combined forces to bring fans a serious dose of hardcore hip hop. The eXXecution is entirely produced by Marco Polo with Ruste Juxx providing gut-wrenching vocals over heavy hitting drums. Marco Polo explains that a "simple studio session to play beats turned into Ruste Juxx recording 9 songs. The joints came out so crazy that we said let's turn this into a full-length album. Working with Duck Down all these years it was only a matter of time before Juxx and I got to a specific project. The best part is the work happened organically. Nothing was forced. Ruste came through, heard beats, wrote, recorded...done deal. March 23rd is The eXXecution!"
The album, which is being finished in the studio before the new year, features Buckshot, Sean Price, Freddie Foxxx, Rock of Heltah Skeltah & DJ Revolution with additional guests to be confirmed.
Ruste Juxx is the newest sensation coming out of Crown Heights, Brooklyn. After several years of collaborating on Boot Camp Clik projects, such as Sean Price’s, "Monkey Barz," "Master P," and "Jesus Price Supastar" albums, along with being featured on Boot Camp Clik’s "Casualties Of War," album and touring with the likes of Sean Price, Ghostface and Jedi Mind Tricks, Juxx is preparing to release his first solo project, entitled "Indestructible."
"Indestructible" is Executive-Produced by Sean Price and spearheaded by the menacing lead tracks "Wipe Off Ya Smile," and "Get Up," the album features guest appearances by Heltah Skeltah, Smif-N-Wessun and Buckshot, as well as production from PF Cuttin, Dan The Man, and Black Milk. After years of grinding, Ruste Juxx is finally seeing his hard work and dedication to what he loves paying off. With this project he proves that success is the only option. The album title means he's too strong to be destroyed.
